Perales Consulting Group (PCG) Approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
On June 25, 2013, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified and approved PCG to be eligible to participate in Veterans First Contracting Program opportunities with the VA.
The Veterans First Contracting Program within the Department of VA was created for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses for VA procurements. The Program gives confidence to the VA that set-asides are being awarded to legitimate firms owned and controlled by Veterans or Service-Connected Disabled Veterans. This helps stimulate the small business community and create growth for the economy.
Approved firms are eligible to subcontract with VA’s large prime contractors in acquisitions where additional credit is given during proposal evaluations. They are also eligible to participate in VA’s Veteran-Owned Small Business Mentor-Protégé Program. VA is one of the largest procurement organizations in the Federal Government, with annual expenditures of over $3 Billion with eligible Veteran-Owned Businesses.
